Transitioning from culinary student to food blogger

I have been blogging for a week now, but I never acted like a blogger as such. I am just a writer/artist who has decided to share my reviews of restaurants in Nigeria.

How it started

I never thought I would be a food blogger. It all started when I was a student in culinary school. I always loved cooking and experimenting with new recipes. But after a while, I started to feel like something was missing. I wasn't getting the same satisfaction from cooking that I used to.

That's when I realized that what I really loved was sharing my thoughts and experiences with others and seeing them enjoy the food I talk about. So, I decided to transition from being a chef to a food blogger. At the moment it feels like a big change. Now, I get to share my reviews with people all over the world and see their reactions firsthand. It's truly a passion of mine.

The Culinary Scene in Nigeria

I know very little about Nigerian culinary culture and it was only recently that I started to explore this fascinating cuisine. I have learnt that there is a great variety of Nigerian dishes, which are often quite spicy. The most popular dish is probably Jollof rice, which is a rice dish cooked in a tomato and chilli sauce. Other popular dishes include egusi soup, a soup made with melon seeds, and akara, fried bean cakes.

Nigerian cuisine is fascinating and delicious, and I am excited to continue exploring it. If you are interested in trying Nigerian food, I recommend checking out my future blog posts

The Current Goal

There are a few things I need to do in order to transition from being a chef to a food blogger. Since I'll be working alone, I'll need to learn how to take amazing photos of my food so that people are tempted to click on my blog post. And finally, self-promotion is key for any blogger - I'll need to learn how to market myself so that people are aware of my blog and want to read it.

In Conclusion

In conclusion, transitioning from being a chef to a food blogger can be a difficult and challenging process. However, it is possible to make the transition if you are willing to put in the work and dedication. There are many resources available to help you make the transition, so do not hesitate to reach out for help. With hard work and perseverance, you can make your dream of becoming a food blogger a reality.
